Who is Darsen?

Darsen - real name Aleksandar Stojkovski - is one of Switzerland’s most prominent emerging EDM DJs and producers, based in Ticino, the Italian-speaking south of Switzerland. He works in EDM and Electro-House, both behind the decks and in the studio, and records for the Enjoy Music label.

Signed to Enjoy Music, he released his debut single “Achilles” on Enjoy Records (a unit of the label) - a powerful Electro-House track inspired by ancient Greece and the hero Achilles.

In 2015, his remix of Mauro Picotto’s notorious track “Komodo” was selected for the official Street Parade 2015 warm-up in Zürich, and “So I Dance” - produced with Pat Farrell - became the official Mystery Park Festival anthem.

On stage, Darsen has built his reputation across Ticino and beyond - from a residency at La Fabrique in Castione to festival stages at City Beats, Mystery Park, the Holi Dance Festival, Big Bang in Basel and Bern, and Street Parade in Zürich, where he returned in 2024. Along the way he has shared line-ups with international headliners such as Bob Sinclar, Steve Angello, Solomun, DJ Antoine and Gabry Ponte, and collaborated in the studio with producers including Pat Farrell, A.D.E. and Djerem.

What has Darsen released?

Darsen’s catalogue centres on original Electro-House singles woven through a recurring ancient-Greek theme. His 2014 debut “Achilles” arrived on Enjoy Records, followed the same year by “Moving so Fast” - issued in Original, Instrumental and Radio Edit mixes - and “So I Dance”, the official Mystery Park Festival 2014 anthem, produced with Pat Farrell and featuring Filippo Ferrari. In 2015 he released “Gaugamela (Stuck in a Dream)”, “Lacedaemonia”, “Nothing Can Stop Us” (with A.D.E.) and “Strong” (with Djerem). As a remixer, his rework of Mauro Picotto’s “Komodo” was chosen for the official Street Parade 2015 warm-up compilation, and he also remixed Pat Farrell’s “Dare to Dream”. A Nirvana mashup, “Smells Like Achilles Spirit”, rounds out a catalogue that spans the Swiss EDM scene around the Enjoy Music family and streams on Spotify, Apple Music, Beatport and Deezer.

Most recently, in August 2024, Darsen returned to Street Parade in Zürich, playing a DJ set on the Ticino “Impact Swiss” Love Mobile (“AI in Motion”), alongside Man!ak, FredCapo, Raffi Lusso and DEVN6. See the photo →
